A juglandaceous fruit or nut. Somewhat like a walnut, but with little wings allowing it to be water bouyont. These specimens were edible in the paleocene era, 65.5mya (the era just after the dinosaurs extinction). Found in Sentinel Butte formation, North Dakota.
