Trilobite footprints/tracks from Morocco.

This artefact is a massive iron-rich fossil mud with clear trilobite footprints/tracks covering the surface. Multiple separate individuals have left their imprint on seabed over 600 million years ago. For perspective, these footprints are from 200,000,000 years before dinosaurs roamed the earth.

Trilobites were marine arthropods, arguably one of the most successful species ever, due to the fact it had over 20,000 species and was able to survive 271 million years before finally going extinct (surviving 2 mass extinction events)!
