Banded iron tumblestone

Evidence of the first oxygen on Earth! The earth was once covered by molten metal.... When certain cytobacteria evolved to produce oxygen as a byproduct, it solidified small amounts of the molten metal into these beautiful banded pieces. This makes these tumblestones over 3,000,000,000 (3b) years old!
